사진 매체를 기반으로 장기 프로젝트를 진행하고 있으며, 이야기가 만들어지고 해석되는 과정에 관심을 갖고 있다. 사진적 이미지의 해석에 관한 작업인 잠상(2016-2018), 제주도의 무속문화를 탐구한 ‘기메 그리고, 49일 (2017- 2023)’, 제주 4·3사건을 소재로 한 ‘Evidence: 증언(2019- )’ 프로젝트를 진행해 왔다. 경일대학교 사진영상학부를 졸업했으며, 홍익대학교 대학원에서 사진을 전공했다. @ga.min.kim
Gamin Kim is engaged in long-term projects based on photographic media, with an interest in the process by which stories are created and interpreted. Her projects explore the interpretation of photographic images, including Latent Image (2016-2018), Gime and the 49 Days (2017-2023), which delves into the shamanistic culture of Jeju, and Evidence: Testimony (2019- ), focusing on the Jeju April 3 Incident. She graduated from Kyungil University as a Photography major, and Hongik University Master's degree in photography. @ga.min.kim
